Wealth Management for the LGBT Community
Presented By Marcy Rose & Joe Serrano, Morgan Stanley

Money management is a necessity in 2016, especially with constantly changing laws affecting the LGBT community. Morgan Stanley’s Marcy Rose & Joseph Sorrano present a money management 101 seminar that will answer questions about managing and investing your money in landscape that includes marriage equality, joint homeownership, insurance and more.

SPEAKER BIOS:
Marcy Rose and Joseph Soranno are both financial advisors and partners of the Rose / Soranno wealth management group, a 5 person wealth management teams at Morgan Stanley in NYC.  Marcy and Joe have over 34 combined years of experience working in finance and helping individual investors, non-for-profits organizations and businesses. Marcy, Joe and their entire team help these people and organizations to meet their financial needs.   Marcy graduated from Hofstra University and has achieved the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designation from the College of Financial Planning. For over 17 years, Marcy has been working directly with investors. Marcy is a proud mother of two 7 year old twin boys and has been with her partner for over 15 years.  She began her career at another prominent wealth management firm before joining Morgan Stanley. 

Joe Soranno attended Pennsylvania State University, University Park and also achieved the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designation from the College of Financial Planning.  In 1999, Joe joined the Merrill Lynch Investment Managers analyst training program located in Princeton New Jersey.   Joe’s passion was to work directly with clients and after his analyst work, he became a financial advisor located in Rockefeller Center, New York City.  Joe has been working in the industry since 1999, nearly 17 years.
