Donnie Brown
Donnie Brown is considered one of the leading openly gay wedding and event planners in the industry today. Having been in the industry for more than three decades, he has helped to transform the landscape of how we see weddings and is sought after for his expertise and trend-setting ideas.

He starred in “Whose Wedding is it Anyway” on the Style Network for eleven seasons and is noted for being the first event planner on television in a wedding series. He also starred in “Married Away” on the same network for three seasons and has been spotted on a host of other television programs as well. These include Platinum Weddings on WETV, specials on Style Network, NBC, and ABC. He is a regular guest on Good Morning Texas on the north Texas ABC affiliate.

He has been profiled and quoted in every fashion and wedding magazine you can find on the newsstand.

He is the author of “Donnie Brown Weddings: from the couture to the cake” and has other books in the works at this time.

When not planning weddings and other events, he travels the world speaking to both fans as well as industry groups. He is a member of The Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) and serves on the advisory board of Wedding Planner Magazine.

He was born in Lubbock Texas and attended Monterey High School and Texas Tech University prior to advancing onto the national scene.



Kimberly Reyes

Jenn T. Grace
Jenn T. Grace teaches straight people how to market to gay people and gay people how to market themselves. Upon noticing a need in the marketplace for educational tools aimed at well-meaning straight allies, she set out to fill the void in 2012.  In addition to educating straight audiences, she also coaches gay entrepreneurs in one-on-one settings to help them grow their businesses. She has written two Amazon Best Selling books and is currently working on a third.

As a blogger, podcaster and speaker you can find Jenn involved in anything where business intersects with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) issues. She currently serves as the Vice President of the Connecticut Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. She has been in the LGBT marketing space since 2006 and holds a M.S. in Integrated  Marketing Communications from Golden Gate University and a B.S. in Communications  from Salem State University. She lives in the Hartford, CT area with her wife, Andrea and their two children.



Louise Albin
Louise Albin was born and raised in West Hartford, CT to French Canadian immigrant parents.  She graduated from Trinity College, Hartford with a BA in French Literature and secondary education teaching certification.  She studied in Paris for a year and a half also attending a small French cooking school, in the Latin Quarter. Here she developed her passion for good food.

In 1986 she opened the original Café Louise out of her home in Eugene, Oregon as a dinner home delivery service. This quickly turned into a full service catering business which she sold in 1992 prior to moving back to CT.   In January of 1993 Cafe Louise was relaunched in West Hartford as a lunch/dinner café and catering company. She also offered cooking workshops.  Today, the Café is celebrating its 23rd year as a high end catering company on New Britain Avenue in the Elmwood section of West Hartford. A major expansion is currently underway.

Louise currently resides in Canton, CT with her husband and teenage daughter.



Stacy Morataya-Pilkington
Stacy embedded her roots deeply into luxury hospitality in her hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada.  In the last two decades, she has led service departments at some of the nation’s finest hotels and Resorts, in Denver, Boston, and most recently, in Mashantucket, CT.  As Director of Hotel Operations, Stacy is responsible for ensuring efficiency and excellence at Foxwoods Resort Casino.  Concurrently, she serves as the Co-Chairwoman for the Mashantucket Pequot Giving Campaign, and oversees the community outreach for MPTN and the Gaming Enterprise.  She is humbled to serve on the Cabinet for United Way of Southeastern CT.  Stacy takes much pride in her participation within her Community, and served for two years as Board Member, and one year as President of the Greater Connecticut Gay and Lesbian Chamber.  In the workplace, she is a champion for diversity and innovation.  She shares her life with her wife Mirza, and they proudly maintain a fully functioning 1760’s farm in Ledyard, CT.
