Sobel Promotion’s presents BeBe Sweetbriar performing live on the main stage!

Sobel Promotion’s BeBe Sweetbriar is the San Francisco-based drag chanteuse BeBe Sweetbriar has graced every notable stage in the City on the Bay. She has been the opening act for Destiny’s Child Kelly Rowland, TV’s Ugly Betty star Alec Mapa, Frenchie Davis and Billboard Dance Divas Kristine W. and Luciana. 

Ms. Sweetbriar introduced her first dance single, Save Me written with DJ Pornstar in 2012, followed by Free To Be Me (DJ Pornstar) and Show It Off (Tyler Smith). The beginning of 2016 marked Sweetbriar’s biggest release to date on Hit Save Music with a rework of the Pussycat Dolls’ 2005 hit Dontcha featuring Leo Frappier (producer/remixer) distributed worldwide through the Orchard. The single release was accompanied by a music video directed by filmmaker Amir Jaffer.

In film, BeBe has co-starred in three independent projects, Under One Sun (Aisha Media) and Devious, Inc. (Hella Fresh Films – Australia Film Festival entry), and Hours (Amir Jaffer Films) displaying her wide range in acting with dramatic and comedic roles, and participating in the executive production of Under One Sun and the soundtrack recording for Devious, Inc. Currently she is starring in another Aisha Media short-film, Hours, released in 2015. BeBe can also be heard as hostess on the weekly talk magazine radio show It’s Everything with BeBe Sweetbriar on the Progressive Voices station of Tunein.com Radio.

As a columnist, she gained national prominence with her syndicated celebrity interview column, FAME, on Edge Media Network (EdgeOnTheNet.com), the largest LGBT news and entertainment network in the world, with interviews with Lady Gaga, Academy Award winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black (MILK), Tony Award winner Jennifer Holliday (Dreamgirls), Grammy winners Dionne Warwick (That’s What Friends Are For) and Cyndi Lauper (Best New Artist & We Are The World), and Award winning playwright Del Shores (Sordid Lives, Southern Baptist Sissies), to name a few. Sweetbriar’s has been a lead features writer for LEFT Magazine, and is a celebrity features contributor to one of the leading LGBT news and entertainment magazines in California, GLOSS Magazine.

An unwavering advocate for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality and the fight against HIV/AIDS stigma, BeBe has been honored by the State of California’s Senate and Assembly, and the San Francisco Board of Supervisors with Certificates of Recognition and by San Francisco Power of One non-profit organization with the coveted Sylvester Award of Inspiration.
